Welcome to the Grade Four French page! We are currently learning and practising our play, "Le chat et la lune." This play was written by Wendy Maxwell, the creator of the AIM Language Learning Program that we use. I have recorded myself reading the play so that you can listen to how the words are supposed to sound. Reading French words involves ignoring some of the English rules that we have learned to follow, so I hope these audio links will prove helpful. The first one is read more slowly so you can get accustomed to reading the play. The second one is read more quickly and is how you should sound after a lot of practise. Good luck and thanks for practising at home!

About Me
- Mrs. Lechner
- Hello! I am currently in my ninth year of teaching and am excited to be teaching Grade Six once again! I taught Grade Three for five years, went on maternity leave for a year, then co-taught for a year in Grades Four to Six (half-time). I was ready for a change, so I moved to teaching Grade Six full-time and then went on another maternity leave. I came back for good good and am thrilled to be able to continue my educational journey in Grade Six! Please feel free to drop by our classroom anytime and visit our blog often for information and updates!
