SMART Board Tips, Lessons, and More

Davison School is proud to be a SMART Showcase School, with SMART Boards in every classroom.  As classroom teachers, you may sometimes find yourselves stuck for ideas on how to incorporate a SMART Board lesson into your current theme, or possibly just on how to use a particular SMART Board feature.  The following links may help you out.

SMART Exchange Lessons

The official SMART Exchange Canada site with extensive lessons and files organized three ways: by subject, by grade, or by file type (SMART Notebook, SMART Response, SMART Ideas, manipulatives, etc.).  Search these categories generally or type in a specific topic to refine your search.  You may also click on "Standards-Correlated Lessons" to find SMART Board lessons specific to the Saskatchewan curriculum.  If you wish, you can share your own SMART Board lessons on this site, too.

About Me

My photo
Hello! I am currently in my ninth year of teaching and am excited to be teaching Grade Six once again! I taught Grade Three for five years, went on maternity leave for a year, then co-taught for a year in Grades Four to Six (half-time). I was ready for a change, so I moved to teaching Grade Six full-time and then went on another maternity leave. I came back for good good and am thrilled to be able to continue my educational journey in Grade Six! Please feel free to drop by our classroom anytime and visit our blog often for information and updates!
